English hunting style how to get that unique elegant style
On a blog like mine, dedicated to the fur, leather and luxury sector, how could I not dedicate a post to English style, more precisely: to hunting?
Ralph Lauren, Burberry are just some brands that have been taking inspiration from hunting for years. English fox hunting is one of the most common themes, and in the history books I studied when I attened the European Institute of Design I was always fascinated by the elegamce of the hunters’ wives.
Do you remember this beautiful hunting scene in Downton Abbey?
“Hunting” is certainly not this season’s trend but as I have always said on my blog I don’t love talking about the latest trends as everyone does, I prefer to talk to you about my personal style or the things that I love most.
With my small team this morning we made inspirational moodboards, six looks on how to match furs to shirts and tweed jackets, a selection of garments that I would wear f I went to a hunt or on a horse and research on the best pinterest noticeboards dedicated to this theme.
INSPIRATION MOOD BOARD: ENGLISH HUNTING STYLE AND TRAPPERS
Holland & Holland, tweed suits, Burberry, Fox coat, fur, hounds, hunters, trapping, country side, english, elegant these are just a part of keywords that describe the inspiration of my idea of English Hunting Style.
Then we also did a set on Polyvore.
I have NEVER been on a horse, I will go this weekend with a dear friend of mine from: the fur sector.
